Meimi can’t stand Asuka Jr. speaking ill of her secret alter ego, Saint Tail, and the two get into a fight over it before class. Seira tugs at Meimi’s shirt, but Meimi says, “Don’t stop me, Seira.” The teacher’s voice repeats back, “‘Don’t stop me’…”

シスター:
「つまり『ケンカを続行(ぞっこう)したいーー…』と」
“In other words, 'I want to keep on fighting...'”

Key Points

  1. 続行(ぞっこう) = “to continue carrying on”

    • Here, 続行(ぞっこう)したい means “want to keep going” or “want to continue” the fight.

    • It is a more formal, Sino-Japanese word than plain (つづ)けたい, which is part of why the Sister’s paraphrase sounds a little stiff and explanatory.

  2. ケンカを続行(ぞっこう)したい = “I want to continue the fight”

    • ケンカを」 marks the thing being continued, so the phrase is literally “want to continue the quarrel”.

  3. つまり marks this as a paraphrase

    • つまり means “in other words” or “so what you’re saying is”.

    • The Sister is not quoting Meimi’s exact words; she is summarizing the implication of what Meimi just said and did.
