Komura shares his history book with Mie. Since Mie forgot her glasses, she leans in as she strains to see the material written in the book.

小村(こむら):
「どどどど どうしたの!? の!?!?」
“Wh-wh-what's wrong?!”
三重(みえ):
「ちょっと()づらくて
“It's a bit difficult to see...”

Key Points

  1. 見えづらくて means it is hard to see

    • ()える means to be visible, and 〜づらい adds difficulty.

    • Mie is not saying she dislikes looking; she means the text is physically hard for her to make out.

  2. づらくて leaves the consequence unstated

    • The form connects to an implied result, such as why she is leaning close.

    • This makes the line sound like an explanation rather than a complete formal sentence.
