有希子(ゆきこ):
(わたし)(はい)ってる(あいだ)(だれ)部屋(へや)から()(ひと)はいた?」
While I was in the bath, was there anyone who left the room?”
Literal: “During the time I was in, was there anyone who left the room?”
広美(ひろみ):
「いいえ(だれ)も…」
“No, no one...”

Key Points

1(あいだ) = while, during the time that
  • Here (わたし)(はい)ってる(あいだ) means “while I was in the bath”.
