Key Points
1私服 = “plain clothes” off duty
- 私服 means your private or ordinary clothes, the ones you wear when you are not in a uniform.
2バイト and ユニフォーム
- バイト is short for アルバイト, a part-time job, and ユニフォーム is the loanword for “uniform”.
3〜を〜に使ってる = “using A as B”
- 使ってる is 使っている with the い dropped, the casual contracted progressive.
- In full the thought is バイトのユニフォームを私服に使っている, “she is using her part-time uniform as her plain clothes.”
4〜のか… = a trailing realization
- Final のか with the ellipsis shows Kumada piecing something together as he sees her outfit.
