Objective reason with 〜ので
Grammar: Reason and Cause » 〜ので
ので connects a reason to its result and often translates as “because” or “since”. It presents the reason as an explanatory circumstance rather than a personal argument. Nouns and な-adjectives take なので; verbs and い-adjectives take ので directly.
Usage Notes
ので sounds more explanatory or matter-of-fact than から. It is used when the speaker presents the reason as a circumstance that leads to the result. On the topic of Chino’s height, Rize says it would be funny if Chino outgrew Cocoa, as this would put Cocoa on the receiving end of affection. Cocoa is fine with this, but Chino assures her she won’t. Syaro asks why Chino doesn’t have Cocoa help with her homework. Cocoa inquires about the board and pieces sitting in front of Chino.
